Countdown for next year
This year I found a ton of adorable Christmas Advent calendar ideas. Our family hasn't counted down Christmas yet, but I think next year we will start. I am going to do three different countdowns with my one calendar. The countdown to Christmas will include candy, reading the nativity story and a wonderful idea of reading a Christmas book each day with an activity that goes with it.
So, here they are so great ones in case you want to start a similar tradition.
1) LDS Scripture/Activity Countdown from A Thousand Words blog
2) Candy Countdown from My Words blog
3) Baby Stockings Countdown from Martha Stewart
4) Christmas Book and Activity Countdown from Bella Dia blog
Next year I will share what I have put together that combines all my ideas and these great ideas.

I was shopping with my friend Brenda today at Target and ran across this advent calendar,
http://www.target.com/Advent-Calendars/dp/B000QDQVKE/sr=1-1/qid=1198136213/ref=sr_1_1/602-2920075-5725450?ie=UTF8&index=target&rh=k%3AAdvent%20Calendar&page=1
and told her that I am coming to Target the day after Christmas and getting it. They had about 6 or so left. The only problem is that I am going to be in Bakersfield and not Stockton and I am going to have to hope they have them there.
I am even more excited because now I have ideas of what to put into each box! Thanks!!! =)
That is too funny!! =)
Hey, I don't know if you are thinking the same thing that I am but, we can swap cell phone numbers and if your Target that your at doesn't have them then maybe the Target I will be at will or vise versa and we can get two where ever we are and then pay the other one back. What do you think? BTW, my email address is: brandowx3@sbcglobal.net. Just email me!
