Oh Easter Tree

About 8 years ago, I saw this wonderful tree in Martha Stewart Living. Every year, I see this image and think to myself... "Oh, how I want to make this little Easter Tree". And every year goes by and it doesn't happen.

Well, this still isn't the year, unfortunately. I think I will wait until Hannah is old enough to help me blow out the eggs. Make it a yearly tradition with my kids. But I wanted to show how cute this tree is. I absolutely love it. Although, I am not sure where you can get pussy willows. I am thinking Michael's might have them in their fake flower section. But then again, I think there is something to say for fresh pussy willows (it is spring, after all).

Someday, I will put up my own Easter tree. Maybe one of you can beat me to it :-)

I may beat you to it Ange...this looks like a lot of fun. It probably would be more fun with a kid to help with the process but I am a little impatient to wait and would love to display this is the home. We'll see, thanks for sharing it!

Seriously - you find the cutest things! I want to try this but we will see if I will get to it - it might be one for next year.

One year when Ang and Jamie were little, I did something similar like that, but I think you were too young to remember. So, I would advice doing it when the kids are older, but I remember the reason I didn't do it when you were older, is because life got too busy and crazy and I couldn't keep up with all the holiday decorations I had collected. There were some things I had to prioritize, but this is really a darling Easter project.

I was just going to say that I remember an easter tree in our house growing up. I remember ducks and chicks I think instead of eggs, or maybe there were some eggs as well. But I do adore this idea. That's another one to put in my back pocket.
