Keeping it Real

I realized yet again, I haven't talked much about our life, so I thought I would share some fun things that have been said or done in our little home.

1) Ella can have quite the temper tantrums when she feels like it. She loves to walk around the house in my 3 inch heels carrying her blanket, her ducky, a toy or two and her sippy cup. She always fumbles and trips and every time, she just cries and screams because she is so frustrated, yet she won't let me take them away and she won't quite. She keeps trying, no matter how frustrating it is .... for both of us.

2) Yesterday, I had to paint part of the wall to fix some scuffs and drywall issues we had. When Chris came home, Hannah pointed this out to him. She said "mom did such a good job. She can do anything. She does things perfect." How great is that? My own little cheerleader. Thanks for the love, Hannah.

3) Hannah is learning to write her letters and is learning to add. She is really picking up on both of these new skills. I have been buying those phonic, addition and learning workbooks and she loves to work on them each day. It is great. I wonder how long this will last.

4) Ella loves to get this pink princess phone and pretend to talk into it. Then she always comes up to me and shoves it into my face, so I can talk into it. When I am done having my pretend conversation and say "bye" she takes it away. It is pretty fun to watch her do this because she has the biggest smile on her face every time.

5) My girls love corn on the cob. Ella is the pickest eater, but not when it comes to corn. I think she likes the independence of it all. Hannah has always liked corn too. Now I think she likes it most because of the little mini corncobs she gets to put on the ends of the cob. Let's just say when we have corn on the cob... there is corn everywhere! Hair, inside the diaper, floor and teeth!

6) We went to a friend's baptism this weekend and Hannah was so excited to go. She loves when people get baptized. She was so cute and I was so proud to be with my good little girl, just her and me enjoying an important event in a friend's life. It was a nice day!

7) My girls are really such good friend. Every day when Ella wakes up from her nap, Hannah goes upstairs and takes about 15 books into Ella's room and jumps into her crib and reads to her. It is so cute and wonderful to see these two sisters enjoy time together. Hannah being the good big sister and Ella enjoying their time together. I hope this always lasts.

Thanks again for sharing the latest updates on the Williams family. Our little princesses are so fun to read about. These can be challenging times, but as you know, they are the cutest times as well. MOM
