Sad, Sick and Mad

I am sick to my stomach and on the verge of tears and so mad at myself and whoever stole my ipod touch. My wonderful husband gave me an ipod touch for my birthday (which goes against everything he believes about technology and toys and spending lot of money on them). But he did it because he loves me and knew I wanted one sooo bad.

Today I woke up and wanted to look at something on my ipod and couldn't find it anywhere. I searched all over and realized that the last time I saw it was when I went to Target (I used it because it had my shopping list on it). Well, it seems that Target was indeed the last I saw of it. I don't know if I left it in my cart or somewhere or someone stole it from my purse or what, but either way I believe it is gone... adios.... fin.

I had it for a two months and loved everything about it. I won't go on and bore you with how great it was, but I am now having to come to terms with the fact that I won't have it anymore and it is all my fault. And the worst part is there is nothing I can do to change the outcome, whats done is done.... And on a side note, I can't stand it when people steal. Even if I left it, I can't believe someone would find it and think "find keepers, losers weepers". But that is what I am off to go do...cry myself to sleep.

Wow! That stinks! I hate people who steal too!!! I would have took it right up to the store manager and turned it in. I have had too many things stolen and I know what it feels like and I would never want anyone else to feel that way.

I'm so sorry. Why can't this world be a little more honest every once in a while?

I'm sure you already did but you should call Target and ask them if anyone turned it in? You just never know.

Good luck and I'm sorry!!!

I'm sick as well!! Have you done everything possible to locate it. Even prayer at this time is appropriate, but there is a sad reality: we live in a world where more and more people will do anything for anything - no scruples, no principles, and it's only getting worse, especially with "techno" toys. It is #1 on their list of things to steal. However, miracles can and do happen - who knows.

Oh my goodness I am sick for you! That is one of the saddest stories! I am always so shocked to hear that people are capable of being so dishonest. Have you broken the news to Chris, how did he handle it? I agree with mom, maybe in a few days, a miracle will happen and it will re-appear. Have you tried calling Target to see if they have a lost and found? Is your contact info anywhere on it? I really hope that it shows up!

I have said my prayer and called Target and nothing. I think someone took it from my purse while shopping. I am almost sure I didn't leave it and there where many times I was distracted by Hannah, so BIG lesson learned by me.

Just nothing nice about that...not nice at all...that's why I stick with my boring planner. No stealing there.
SO sorry...but love feeling all connected to you!

This is Becky, I'm not great at leaving comments, but this situation definitely deserves condolences. I am so sorry - I left our DVD player and movies on the airplane, but that was much easier to replace than your itouch. I feel so sick for you because it was a really cool gadget. Sorry!
