Disneyland Weekend

We had a great trip to Disneyland with grandma and grandpa. It was a bit more crowded that I thought it would be, but of course still so much fun. Hannah is at the perfect age for Disneyland and it is always a blast to bring her.

Here are some highlights of our trip:

* Hannah woke up Friday morning and while we were getting ready, she was busy writing her name on 20 pieces of paper. I wasn't sure what she was doing, but when we arrived at the park, she had all the pieces of paper in her hand. Each one had her name written on it. At first, I thought... "no, we aren't carrying those pieces of paper all day", but then I realized it was her signature that she wanted to give each of the characters. It was so cute.

She gave the first one to Pluto and he went nuts. He loved it and kept kissing it and hugging it. All the characters were so cute about it.

* We had breakfast with Minnie and friends and Dale came by and visited for 10 mins. He "chatted" with Hannah and then they danced together during a song on the overhead speakers. It was so much fun and he was a really good dancer. He taught Hannah a step or two.

* Hannah got her face painted for the first time. I wasn't sure if she would like it, but she really did. She was very proud of it all day.

* Hannah of course loves getting her picture with the characters, but Ella was very funny about the whole thing. She would walk up to the character... stand there very weary and kinda look down (unsure of the whole thing) and let me take her picture and then quickly walk away. It was like she knew she was supposed to get her picture taken with them and was willing to do it, but when the picture was done... she was out of there.

* Hannah loves Fantasmic. We had to see it both nights. She begged and begged to watch it the second night. So, we did. Then the rest of the week, she would talk about Mickey's dream and Malificient. She still keeps asking questions all about his dream and why things happened. I think it left an impact on her.
