My Latest Sewing Project

It has been awhile since i have taken out my sewing machine to work on anything. But the other day Hannah kept talking about how much she wanted a stage for her puppets (that she had just made). I mean I heard about it for days and when I told her I would work on one for her, she made me commit to a day it would be finished and then proceeded to tell everyone her puppet stage would be ready to use on Saturday. So, I figured I better get on it. I talked about an adorable and easy Puppet Stage awhile back on my blog, so I thought, I better sit down and make it.
It really wasn't hard and the best part is I already had most of it done since they were drapes for a closet we had at our old house. I love when you save things and you don't know why, but then you find the perfect use for them.
So, here is our puppet stage. I loved how it turned out. Now for the sad part. The girls hardly use it. Oh, well. Someday they will.

It turned out really cute! I'm sure they will use it!
When grandparents come to visit, maybe Hannah can prepare a cute puppet show. I think maybe buying some really good puppets might interest her. Sounds like a mission for grandma.
MOM
WOW what a great mom you are! I love reading all the fun things you do for your family.
You will have to update us when you find the answers for your Q&A below.
I have the same exact problems except swapped. You are definitely not alone!!
My five year old has very few foods he will eat. Zero fruits and vegetables unless in smoothie form. He is bad enough that he can look at a food on his plate (or my plate) and throw up everywhere. I got tired of cleaning up after those episodes that I don't try to get him to eat new foods right now. Drives me nuts. The only way to distract him from not looking at what we eat is the tv. It's bad. Discouraging. Obnoxious. He also has blood sugar issues so the letting him starve thing doesn't work out so well. His doctor said as long as he takes a vitamin he will be fine. Also suggested pediasure (which we do one a day), but they are so dang expensive! I just pray he outgrows it. . . preferably soon!
My three year old is the potty training issues (I know a little different than bed wetting). But the girl is so dang stubborn. She knows how to go potty in the toilet. She will go a couple weeks with zero accidents, and then start peeing everywhere. This past week she pooped twice in her pants (in one day), something she hasn't ever done. She just could care less. Drives me nuts.
I am guessing Heavenly father wants me to learn patience (he has a sense of humor like that!). But most days I feel like I don't have very much left!! It's a good thing my kids are cute and I love them to pieces!!
