Happy October!
I have to say, growing up I didn't just love Halloween. I am not sure why, but now I really like it. Maybe it is because of the commercialism or that I have kids that get excited or that I am just more fun these days :-) .... but I am starting to get into the whole Halloween thing. I love the fall. I love the apple and pumpkin desserts. I love the soups I can finally start making. I love the colors orange, purple and black. What's not to love. I am going to put up my decorations this weekend (something I usually don't get excited enough to do that) and I bought this great shirt to wear for the month of October. I love it. October is a fun month and I am more than ready to celebrate fall and now Halloween!

I agree with you about October. I have celebrated it in Utah most of my life.... 2 1/2yrs ago we transferred to Seattle. I'm experiencing new things here. I miss the fall in Utah.... I loved looking up at the beautiful mountains and all the colors. I haven't discovered the colors here yet... and I love all the new soup recipes that I am getting from all the new people we have met.
